AIMS:

• To work together with other organisations in the pharmaceutical field as well as other medical and social groups, to better serve the general public

• To work together with other organisations in the pharmaceutical field as well as other medical and social groups, for the betterment of the profession

• To constantly improve the standard of community practice

• To promote a positive image of the profession to the general public.

FUNCTIONS:

• To organize workshops and seminars for members to update and upgrade the practical and pharmaceutical knowledge;

• To organize alone or in co-operation with Drug Education Resources Centre (DERC) to talks / Q&A sessions for the general public

• To address current issues regarding community / general pharmacy practice

• To liaise between for the community pharmacists and the Authorised Seller of Poisons to uphold good pharmacy practice standards
